MARKETING ASSISTANT:
We are currently supporting a UK charity focusing on changing people’s lives throughout their fundraising work, as well as their event work on a national scale. This is a tight-knit, high-performance team that really cares about their cause and work.
MARKETING ASSISTANT ROLE:
- PR and Communications: Taking ownership over news articles, press releases, and monthly communications campaigns to a niche database of 8,000 – 10,000 people
- Events: Supporting the charity by being the representative for the cause at regional and national events and trade shows
- Stakeholder communication: Liaising and reporting to internal managers of progress and results, as well as liaising with 3rd party suppliers
- System utilisation and management: Using tools such as Mailchimp, Microsoft 365, etc
- Website copywriting: Supporting with written content
- Ad hoc marketing support where required, including EDMs, social media, etc
MARKETING ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
- Must be willing to work fully remote and travel to events nationally when required
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience within a corporate marketing role
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Highly organised with a proactive working style
- High attention to detail
- Tech savvy
- Team player and the ability to offer support outside of main responsibilities
