Founded in 1957, PGL has grown to become the UK’s leading provider of residential school trips, adventure holidays, and outdoor learning experiences for children and young people. Originally named after founder Peter Gordon Lawrence, PGL is now known more widely by its promise: “Passion, Growth, Learning.” The company is built on a commitment to fun, safety, quality and inclusivity, with every activity and programme designed to help young people discover new skills and enjoy the great outdoors.
Centres & Locations
PGL operates a network of purpose-built adventure centres across the UK and Europe. UK centres include locations in Devon, Dorset, Lincolnshire, Shropshire, Wiltshire, Lancashire, North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Perthshire in Scotland and many more, each set in stunning natural surroundings with access to lakes, forests, and dedicated adventure facilities.
