ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Processing supplier POs, invoices and credit notes
- Monitoring the email inbox on a daily basis
- Assisting with processing employee expenses using Concur
- Dealing with supplier and employee expense queries
- Supporting the Finance team with ad hoc reporting requests
- Reconciling supplier accounts and investigating outstanding balances
- Reconciling bank and contra accounts
- Assisting the Accounts Payable Manager with ad hoc duties
- Preparing supplier payment runs
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS AND DESIRED
- Minimum 12 months of Accounts Payable experience
- Holding a degree in accounting or finance is desirable
- Must be able to work 5 days
- Basic knowledge of VAT in relation to supplier invoicing is advantageous
- Demonstrating solid Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts and graphs
- Having experience with Sage Intacct and SAP Concur is an advantage
- Bringing previous experience within the events or media sector is beneficial
- Being agile and adaptable to change in a fast-growth environment
- Showing strong communication and presentation skills
- Bringing a positive, resilient and adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
- Demonstrating attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and confidence working independently or as part of a team
