About the role

At PGL, our on-site gift and tuck shops keep guests topped up with essentials, treats, drinks and souvenirs, helping to make their stay memorable. As a Retail Assistant, you’ll create a friendly, welcoming shopping experience for young guests and staff at our adventure centres.

At some larger centres, this role may also include working in our small on-site cafés. At smaller centres, it may be combined with supporting housekeeping or general assistant duties — giving your days more variety.

You’ll play a key part in day-to-day retail operations, keeping displays tidy and stocked, serving guests and providing excellent customer service in a lively, active environment.

  • Handle cash and operate tills confidently and accurately
  • Restock shelves and keep displays clean, tidy and appealing
  • Answer guest questions and help them find what they need
