Working at our London Day Camps (aka Playschemes) is suitable for anyone who is available during the school holidays and loves working with kids!Running from East Finchley, this is your opportunity to have an exciting working week while enhancing our fun and safe day camps for children aged 3-12. The camps run Monday – Friday and hours are usually 08:30 to 15:45. On Mondays everybody starts at 08:00, and once a week staff are required to stay until 16.20.
Training and set up, which everybody must attend, takes place on the Sunday before the first day of camp.

- Work within a team. Collaborate & support colleagues.
- Follow written procedures correctly.
- Be resiliant. Working with children can be hard (though very rewarding) work and if you have a hard session or day you need to be able to ride through it.
- Think on your feet and adapt to difficult situations.
The following qualities/achievements are desirable:
- Specific activity coaching awards (Sport, Dance, Art, Drama)
- Proven experience of working with children
- An in-depth understanding of how children play and learn
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundations Stage)
- Management experience
Qualifications (which must be valid and certified with original documents) include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching (PGCE/ QTS*)
- NVQ, CACHE in childcare*
- First Aid/ Paediatric First Aid
* Equivalent qualifications will also be accepted.
