About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join a variety of primary and secondary schools across London and the wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people in their learning journey, working alongside teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Roles are available for both general classroom support and subject-specific assistance, as well as one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to aid learning and understanding
- Assist with classroom preparation and resources
- Provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise pupils during non-teaching times such as break and lunch
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred, but not essential
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to build good relationships with students and staff
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work across different age groups and subjects
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
